HOW TO CONNECT THE ARDUINO NANO WITH ARDUINO ETHERNET SHIELD TUTORIAL

HOW TO CONNECT THE ARDUINO NANO WITH ARDUINO ETHERNET SHIELD TUTORIAL
This tutorial provide the knowledge about the connection of Arduino Ethernet Shield with Arduino Nano. This tutorial is very simple but more intresting. By using these product we will make many more intresting projects.
Step 1: Parts
 Arduino Nano

 Ethernet Shield

  1. 1 Arduino Nano.
  2. 1 Ethernet shield with SD card slot, with Wiznet w5100 chip. W5100 direct programming can save a lot of pain , which the Arduino libraries , is supported by .
  3. 5 m-m hookup wires.
  4. 1 breadboard
  5. 1 micro SD card
  6. The Arduino 1.0 software

Is perfect for plugging into a breadboard - it is very small and it is the male header pin nano essentially the same except that the United Nations itself . It turns out , you also can buy shields for nanotechnology , especially Ethernet , but they may be more expensive .

The Ethernet Shield should be SD card support. Because it is also useful for many other project or we can make other intresting project with it .so we will buy the updated version of it.

Step 2: Insert Arduino Nano into breadboard
The Arduino nano should be be placed on the breadboard such that there is short connection.

First you will insert the Arduino Nano right at the edge of the board, so that the USB connector hangs over the edge, and the pins D12 and D13 are in the holes closest to the edge. The pictures is shown below..

Step 3: Plug ICSP of shield onto the Nano
 Arduino Nano

At the time of connection please be carefull and be sure that there is no power in the board at the time of connection made
The shield can be plugged in two ways.
One way covers the Nano, the other doesn't. You need to plug in the shield so that most of the Nano is still visible. This turns out well, as it gives full access to the Nano connections that way.
Also make sure that you get all 6 pins plugged in.

Because the shield's pins are all exposed underneath, and be carefull the pins cant be shorted.
Step 4: Connect the wires
 Ethernet Shield

The connection should be made by matching the label of arduino nano and Ethernet shield. We need 5 wires to complete the setup.because ICSP connector hooks up the power and done most of work:

Pins 11, 12, 13 (SPI bus)
Pin 10 selects the w5100
Pin 4 selects the SD card

Step 5: Test the setup
Test the setup and enjoy the project and also give us the feedback
Thanks..
